How to Transfer Ownership of Your Ramp for FE Account
If you need to transfer ownership of your subscription account (e.g., due to a team change or company handoff), this guide will walk you through the process.
Note: Ownership transfers must be initiated by the current account holder or billing contact on file.
⚠️ Key Things to Know
Ownership transfers are not automatic and require action from both the current and new owner.
Subscription data, billing info, and account access are all linked to the user email.
Changing your subscription email will not change your email/main user in Ramp for FE.
For security, we may require verification before completing a transfer.
✅ Step-by-Step: How to Transfer Ownership
1. Create a New User Account (New Owner)
The new owner should create an account using the same email domain (if applicable) by going to the Account Registration page.
2. Contact Our Support Team
Have the current account owner reach out to our team and request a transfer.
Please include the following info:
Current account holder’s name and email
New owner’s name and email
Company Name
We’ll verify the request before transferring access and ownership.
What We’ll Do
Once we verify the request, we will:
Reassign the active subscription to the new account
Update billing information if requested
Remove access from the previous owner if needed
Updating Billing Info
The new owner can update the payment method after the transfer:
Log into their account
Go to My Account > Subscriptions
Click View next to the active subscription
Update the Payment Method
