What is a transaction?

Modified on Wed, Apr 30 at 1:11 PM

We define and count transactions based on how data from Ramp is mapped into Financial Edge NXT (FENXT):

  • Ramp Card Transactions → Counted as FENXT Journal Entry Lines

  • Ramp Reimbursements → Counted as FENXT AP Invoices

  • Ramp AP Bills → Counted as FENXT AP Invoices

Transaction Counting Examples

  • 100 card transactions in Ramp = 100 transactions

  • 1 reimbursement with 10 line items = 1 transaction

  • 10 AP bills, each with 5 line items = 10 transactions

Each transaction is counted based on the number of high-level records (not line items) created in FENXT.
